Sign up and join Get Moving Fiji, the physical activity promotions arm of ACATA Trust Fiji from 1st November, 2015.
You can volunteer for as many weeks as you wish to, up to a maximum of 3 months. As a Volunteer with Get Moving Fiji, you will be a part of a strong fun team working with Physical Activity for kids and adults in Nadi, working in fitness centres, villages, community halls and schools. During the program, you will get the opportunity to do all kind of Physical Activities promotions, such as; *Teachers Exercise; can be all from body workout, Zumba, powerwalking etc.), *Soccer *Gymnastics *Zumba for schools *Rugby *Gym: if you want to take some volunteering hours in the local Gym you are more than welcome. Here we provide Zumba lessons, Body Workouts, gymnastics etc. imagination is the only limit. Further, we are setting up a program where we are doing physical activities for kinder garden kids’ twice a week from 12-2 pm. Once a month we have a big event in the city where we focus on health promotion and doing fun activities for the locals. Location All volunteers will be placed in houses/apartments, in the area Namaka. One house can have up to 4 volunteers, which mean you will most likely be sharing a room with another volunteer. Volunteers are required to take care of their own meals. Full cooking are facilities available. Requirements Only requirement is that you are over 18, interested in sport, and are willing to pass on the passion.
